Digital Media Players makers such as Popcorn, Xtreamer and Western Digital need to engage in talk with Netflix and Hulu to get a interface for their service on their media players. Netflix now covers ROKU, connected Sony Bravia TV's and Game consoles. Netflix is becoming a must have service on digital media players. Still, many consumers in Europe and Asia do not have access to Netlfix so they might not see the value. But Public TV channels in Europe such as IBBC and DR.dk TV are also popular among these consumers. Sigma Designs are still developing support for Flash Lite in their SoC design so it should be possible for the makers to adopt the streaming services. Many users are also using trans coding servers like Tversity, Twonky and Playon to stream web based content to their media players. Working with them might help the DMP makers to allow access from the streaming services to the couch.
