According to the NPD group, a US-based Market Research firm, household are increasingly adopting connected TV’s and using them for online video services in both paid and free video. For the 10% of total US households owning an connected TV, they see a decline in the usage of streaming media players, video game consoles, PC's and Blu-ray Disc players.
